OSU employee sentenced for emblezzlement

STILLWATER, Okla. - An employee of Oklahoma State University who entered a guilty plea on a charge of embezzlement in July was sentenced Friday in Payne County Court.

The judge sentenced 57-year-old Cythia Low to serve ten years Oklahoma Department of Corrections custody, with the last 8 years suspended contingent on good behavior. She is also ordered to pay in excess of $83,000 in restitution.

The allegations first came to light in June of 2010, and she was charged in March 2011.
