TULSA - Oral Roberts' newest president, the fourth in the university's history, was officially announced Thursday.
William Wilson was presented to students, parents and staff in a 3 p.m. special meeting in Christ's Chapel.
Wilson served as vice-chair for the ORU Board of Trustees prior to the selection.

The 54-year-old Kentucky native's naming comes at the end of a 17-month search for former President Mark Rutland's replacement. Rutland announced plans to step down in September 2011.
Wilson is expected to start in July.
