A man is in stable condition after crews rescued him from a Sunday morning fire.
A neighbor called the fire in around 7 a.m. on the 4000 block of E. Woodrow Place.
Firefighters found one man unconscious in the house near an exit if the home. Officials believe he was overcome by spoke while trying to escape.
The man was breathing and had a heart beat upon rescue and is now in stable condition.
Officials said crews were able to knock down the fire quickly and get the man to safety.
