TULSA - A man is dead after a shooting at a south Tulsa apartment complex.

According to Tulsa Police, officers responded to a shooting call before 11 p.m. Saturday night at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments near 61st and S. Peoria Avenue.

When officers arrived a 24-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in his neck.  CPR was administered but when EMSA paramedics arrived the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses tell police the suspect used a small pistol to shoot the victim in the stairwell of the complex.

Just hours later, police responded to a second shooting at the same apartments.

Investigators believe it may have been in retaliation to the first shooting.

The 17-year-old victim involved was shot in the arm, neck and torso.  He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, according to officials.

Police have one person of interest in custody but no arrests have been made.
