FORT SMITH, Ark. - The "Fake Beard Bandit" plead guilty to eight bank robberies today.

Jason Day of Oklahoma entered his plea in federal court in Fort Smith.

Day wore a fake beard during one of the robberies, earning him the nickname.

Court records show he is accused of taking more than $70,000 from banks in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri.

His sentencing has not been set.
