SAPULPA, Okla. - One of two people killed last week in a wrong-way collision on the Turner Turnpike has been identified.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified 21-year-old Joshua Terrell, of Tulsa, as one of the victims.
Officials say Terrell was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of traffic late last Thursday night near the Sapulpa exit when he crashed into two other vehicles.
Troopers have not released the name of the other driver who was killed.
A third driver was taken to a nearby hospital with head injuries.
It has not been determined why Terrell was driving the wrong way on the turnpike.
