OKFUSKEE COUNTY, Okla. - An Okfuskee County car dealership's license has been revoked after an investigation revealed the company fraudulently sold at least 180 vehicles over a three-year period.

The company, Allen's Auto Salvage, would reportedly obtain rebuilt certificates of title for junk vehicles from Bristow Tag Agency, closed last October as a result of the investigation.

According to an administrative hearing conducted Jan. 15, testimony revealed the dealership never showed repair receipts to the tag agency as required by law.

The Used Motor Vehicle and Parts Commission, which also fined the salvage company $33,000, says it intends to submit the information to law enforcement for possible criminal charges.
