VINITA, Okla. - State law enforcement officials are searching for an escaped Vinita inmate they believe may be armed and dangerous.
Authorities say Tyler Harp was confirmed missing around 4:40 p.m. Monday from the Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center. The 21-year-old is serving a four-year second-degree burglary sentence out of Tulsa County.
Harp is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He is of Native American descent.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Department of Corrections Fugitive Warrants Division at (405) 425-2570.
