NORTH TULSA COUNTY - Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the cause of a crash that killed one person early Friday.

The single-truck wreck happened just after 2 a.m. in far north Tulsa County near East 131st Street and North Peoria Avenue.

According to the highway patrol, 20 -year-old Keith Charles Wilson, of Skiatook, was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk injuries.

Troopers say Wilson was driving at an unsafe feed, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and into several trees.

Wilson was pinned in the wreckage for about 30 minutes before the Skiatook Fire Department freed him using the Jaws of Life.

Nobody else was riding in the 1999 Dodge pickup.
