PAWNEE COUNTY, Okla. - The state insurance commissioner is in Pawnee County Friday, evaluating the damage from a series of wildfires.
Commissioner John Doak and other officials are touring the area this aftenroon.
The fires that started last Saturday devoured more than 15,000 acres and destroyed more than 40 homes.
The Red Cross is assisting families who were left with nothing more than a pile of ash and rubble.
