TULSA - While new signs posted over the Arkansas River are drawing attention, park officials say there's nothing new.
The signs remind park users that bowfishing is illegal in all city parks and River Parks, except in designated areas.
"Rather than just totally eliminating bowfishing, we just clarified it, put the rules up there and designated an area on the west bank. The signs are just informational," park officials said.
Authorities said there have not been any issues, but they wanted to clarify the designated areas.
