TULSA - One more Green Country flu-related death is being reported this week by state health officials.
New data released Thursday from the Oklahoma State Department of Health shows 26 flu-related deaths since Sept. 30, 2012.
A total of 946 people have been hospitalized with the flu since the season began.
Deaths have occurred in the following counties:
The most recent death occurred in Cherokee County.
The majority of this season's flu-related deaths were people 65 years or older.
Updated flu statistics are released every Thursday by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
