TULSA - Now that the weather has cooled off it's time to get outside and enjoy it.
So lace up your running or walking shoes for the PurpleStride 5K run or 1-mile walk (http:// tinyurl.com/ purplestridetulsa), a new event Tulsans are encouraged to take part in Oct. 6.
The 5K, which benefits pancreatic cancer research, will begin at 9 a.m. at Turkey Mountain. 2News anchor Russ McCaskey will serve as emcee and will also be running.
So start stretching and we'll see you there!!
