Nathan Hale High School's Nathan's Bistro opens doors for fall season

Nathan's Bistro, Nathan Hale High School's student-run restaurant, opened Wednesday for the first time this school year.
The restaurant is part of the culinary arts program that provides students with career-oriented training in the hospitality industry.
Students gain first-hand experience in all aspects of operating and managing a restaurant.

"With federal funds, this is a $2 million facility that includes a restaurant, a teaching kitchen and a restaurant kitchen in a new and different way," said Nathan Hale principal Caleb Starr.
Nathan's Bistro is open from 11 to 1 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
