WARNER, Okla. - A pedestrian was walking to work Friday morning in Warner when he was struck and killed by a speeding truck, according to officials.
According to Warner police, the accident happened around 5:20 this morning near the corner of 3rd Ave and 3rd Street when the truck's driver glanced away and didn't see Christopher Buchanan crossing the street.
Police cited the driver for excess speed and inattentive driving. Officials said it does not appear alcohol or drugs were involved.
