NOWATA, Okla. - District 2 Congressman elect Markwayne Mullin hits the road Monday in an effort to visit every county he represents before he heads to Washington.
Mullin will begin his listening tour at 9 a.m. at the Nowata Public Library.
He's also scheduled to stop in Craig, Ottawa, Delaware, Mayes and Rogers Counties.
Mullin says the purpose is to hear from constituents in all 26 counties in District 2 before he takes office in January.
The tour will wrap up Friday night in Muskogee.
All events are free and open to the public.
Mullin is replacing Rep. Dan Boren, who decided not to seek re-election.
