MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The man accused of shooting and killing a 2-year-old boy in Muskogee has been formally charged.
Elbert Meeks, 21, faces first degree murder for the death of JaCion Logan.
Police say the toddler was not the intended target.
Officers believe Meeks was searching for someone else from an earlier altercation.
JaCion's family is holding a candleilght vigil for the child Thursday, Dec. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Muskogee Civic Center. His funeral is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
