TULSA - All northbound lanes of Highway 75 near the I-44 junction in west Tulsa were closed for three hours early Thursday after a deadly motorcycle accident.
Around 2 a.m., a motorist found a crashed motorcycle driver on the highway and called police.
Police say the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead due to severe head injuries.
The investigation into how the accident happened is ongoing.
Police say the bike was a newly-purchased Harley Davidson motorcycle, so it's possible inexperience could have come into play.
The highway was shut down from 2 a.m. until just a few minutes after 5 a.m.
