TULSA - The suspected shooter of a north Tulsa minister has turned himself in.
Rondale Boyd, 18, was taken into custody around 9 p.m. Monday on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree burglary and shooting with intent to kill.
A witness told police a group of masked men kicked in the front door of Rev. Kenneth Brooks, the former pastor at City of Refuge International Ministries, last month. Authorities believe Boyd shot Brooks in the chest.
Brooks is said to be improving.
