Tulsa's Most Wanted: Darell Toni Mitchell

This week's most wanted suspect is wanted in connection with the attempted robbery of a Sonic carhop.

Police say Darell Toni Mitchell is wanted out of Tulsa County for attempted robbery with a firearm as well as a traffic warrant.

Police say Mitchell, 24, was armed when he confronted a carhop April 22 at a west Tulsa Sonic and demanded money.

The victim ran into the store and locked the door. Mitchell fled the scene when he couldn't get inside.

Police describe Mitchell as a black male, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Mitchell should be considered armed and dangerous.

The Crime Commission is offering a cash reward for information leading to Mitchell's arrest.

Anyone with information about his location should call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS or email crimestoppers@cityoftulsa.org . Tipsters can also text a tip to CRIMES (274637), beginning the message with Tip918 .
