TULSA - The man arrested for firing a gun outside the Tulsa County courthouse is now facing two additional charges.
The district attorney's office filed charges of attempted escape as well as assault and battery on a police officer against Andrew Dennehy.
The filing indicates the incident occurred while Dennehy was still in the hospital following his arrest outside the courthouse.
Dennehy was hospitalized for two weeks for gunshot wounds after exchanging gunfire with a sheriff's deputy march 7. The deputy and a bystander were also injured.
Dennehy is due back in court May 11.
