TULSA - Detectives are asking for help identifying a suspect who was caught on camera robbing a midtown Tulsa Dollar General last week.

Around 9 p.m. Oct. 2, the store located at 4th and Lewis was robbed by a black male armed with a handgun.

Police say the suspect ordered the employee to the cash register and demanded she empty the cash drawers into a white plastic bag.

The suspect fled the scene in what a witness described as a brown older model Chevrolet truck.

Police say the suspect was in his 30s, wearing a brown hoodie and blue jeans, a black hat and black shoes. The clerk described him as having a short, scraggly beard.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS or text a tip to CRIMES (274637), beginning the message with Tip918.
