TULSA - Would you know what to do if you found a snake in your home?
Two days this week Meteorologist George Flickinger encountered that creepy proposition!
Monday evening while relaxing in his home , George said he heard something in a nearby closet. When he got close, he saw the snake trying to slither his 5 foot long body under the door.
He called his buddy John Finnell and the two of them got the unwanted house guest moved to a nice bed of tall grass in a field a few miles away.
Days later, George got a call from his wife saying there was another snake in the house. This one was in the restroom. It was bigger: 6-feet long and nearly the width of a tennis ball. At first he thought the snake came in through an electrical outlet in the wall. After closer inspection, the snake appears to have entered through an uncovered shower drain.
Enter John. Again, George was forced to evict another trespasser.
George is back on the air Saturday morning and he's bringing his buddy John with him. They're going to talk about George's story and discuss why it happened and what you can do to "snake-proof" your home!
