TULSA - The preliminary causes of death in the south Tulsa quadruple homicide from last week have been released.

According the state medical examiner's office, all four women were shot to death.

Twins Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Melchor died of multiple gunshots to the head while Julie Jackson and Misty Nunley died of single gunshot wounds to the head.

On Jan. 7, Tulsa police responded to Fairmont Terrace near 61st and Peoria and found the women dead. A 3-year-old boy was also at the apartment. He was not harmed.

On Tuesday, court documents named Freddie Hayes, 32, as a person of interest in the case. Officials believe Hayes was "at a minimum" a witness to the killings.

Powell's mother told 2NEWS Hayes was dating her daughter at the time of the murders.

The final medical examiner's report is pending toxicology results, which can take between two and four months, according to the ME's office.
