MANNFORD, Okla. -
Lunchtime at Mannford High School just got a whole lot better.

The school spent $600,000 on a cafeteria for their students.

Maybe the first one they've ever had.

"As far as I know we haven't had an actual cafeteria commons area at our high school before," said Mannford superintendent Steve Waldvogel.

He says the investment -- paid from within the school budget -- is well worth the cost.

"It's finally a place for our kids to be able to go and hang out, eat lunch, eat breakfast, and mix and mingle and talk," Waldvogel said.
