CREEK COUNTY, Okla. - Deputies finished burning more than 6,200 pot plants in Creek County Friday evening after a tip led investigators to one of the largest marijuana busts they've ever seen.
Deputies discovered the massive grow area deep in the woods several miles southwest of Mannford. The plants, which were too numerous to haul to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation as traditionally done, were worth anywhere from $2 to $3.5 million.
Authorities arrested a man on the property Friday morning, but have yet to release his identity.
