TULSA - A Tulsa man is in custody after witnesses tell police they saw the man take off his pants, throw a rock through a sliding glass door and enter an apartment around 2:30 a.m. Monday.
The woman who lives in the apartment near 68th Street and Yale Avenue told police she woke up when she heard a loud bang on the sliding glass door.
She ran out the front door when she heard glass shatter.
Police say 23-year-old Jared W. Fletcher was still inside the apartment when they arrived. He was naked from the waist down, throwing chairs and breaking furniture, they say.
Officers used pepper balls to subdue the man after he refused to follow officer's commands, police say.
The resident told police she had never seen Fletcher before.
Fletcher was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary, assault on a police officer and obstruction.
