TULSA - Tulsa police are investigating an overnight shooting, beginning with a victim that was dropped off at a local hospital.
Officers say a 24-year-old black male was dropped off at the hospital at 5:22 a.m. Sunday with a gunshot wound to the lower left torso.
Investigators say the man told medical staff there that he did not know who shot him, where he was shot or who brought him to the hospital. They say he later told police he had been shot in a parking lot outside of a club near 71st Street and South Lewis Avenue.
The man said someone shot him without provocation after the club closed, but police found no evidence of a shooting at the scene, investigators say.
People at the club told police they did not hear any shots fired.
