TULSA - A woman is in custody and a man is recovering after an early morning stabbing at a south Tulsa apartment complex.
Police responded to a possible domestic disturbance at the Red River Apartments near 71st and South Trenton around 1:30 a.m.
A man suffering from a stab wound to the torso was found inside one of the apartments. He was transported to a local hospital with a punctured lung.
Police say a woman fled the scene but hours later turned herself in to police at the Family Safety Center.
Veronica Michelle Rodriguez Antonio was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, larceny from a person and tampering without evidence.
Police say the victim was able to identify Rodriguez, his ex-girlfriend, as the suspect. She allegedly arrived at the victim's apartment and argued with the man. During a struggle, the victim was stabbed and suffered injuries to the back of his head.
Rodriguez Antonio was booked into the Tulsa County Jail without bond.
