TULSA - A 27-year-old man was in serious but stable condition early Friday after being shot late Thursday.

Officers got the call around 11 p.m. at the Plaza Hills East Apartments near 21st and S. 129th E. Ave., in east Tulsa.

Police told 2NEWS that it started as an argument between two men and escalated.

Detectives have a suspect in mind but are not releasing a name. They were still interviewing witnesses early Friday.

Police said three guns were recovered at the apartment complex and during a traffic stop.

They believe one of the guns may have been used in the shooting.

A couple of hours before the shooting, police responded to a shots-fired call just one street away from the Plaza Hills East Apartments on E. 17th Ct.

Multiple shots were fired into a duplex around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Nobody was injured.

Police did not have a good suspect description, but told 2NEWS they do not believe the two shootings are related.
