TULSA - A homeowner returned home Tuesday to find a pair of burglars in his house. Police say he was shot three times by those burglars.

It happened about 12:30 p.m. at the home near 39th & S. Madison Ave.

Late Tuesday, police arrested two 17-year-old suspects.  Police are asking that the teenagers be charged as adults.

Investigators say the 51-year-old man was shot in the torso and the head. He was coherent while being treated by EMSA.

The suspects saw the resident come home and moved to the back room. They grabbed the homeowners 38 caliber gun and used that gun to shoot the victim 3 times in torso and once in the head . Investigators say the suspects had attempted to steal the victim's TV, but did not get away with it. They did get away with his gun.
