BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - A Coweta man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run fatality in Broken Arrow Friday night.
Police say Robert Wallace Pitcher, 43, of Broken Arrow was walking on Washington Street near Dogwood when he was struck and killed by a vehicle going westbound.
On Saturday, police arrested 24-year-old Christopher Lee Lange of Coweta, the driver of the vehicle identified in the collision. He was charged with leaving the scene of a fatality collision.
Police say they recovered Lang's pickup truck with damage consistent to the collision.
Police do suspect that alcohol was a factor in the collision.
Lange and another man in his vehicle were not injured in the crash and were both restrained by seat belts, police said.
The incident is still under investigation.
