TULSA - The suspect in Tulsa's first homicide of the year is now facing arson charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Deonta Dixon is already in jail for first-degree murder for the death of 31-year-old Ronnie Stanley.
Police now say Dixon set a fire at Great Adventures Day Care near Pine and North Lewis Christmas Day.
Officers found flammable liquid on the back porch and door. The fire caused about $500,000 worth of damage.
No one was inside when it happened.
Police say the two cases are not related. It's now up to the district attorney to determine if Dixon will be prosecuted on the arson charges in addition to the murder charge.
