DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. - Authorities are investigating a shooting death in rural Delaware County Saturday night.

Authorities say William Alan Martin went to a home in Leach, Okla. to check on a family member. When Martin arrived, he got into an argument with the homeowner.

The man, who was not related to Martin, then shot Martin and he died at the scene.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and requested OSBI agents help investigate the shooting death.

The district attorney will review shooting to determine whether or not any arrests will be made.
