TULSA - Tulsa police have made an arrest in the city's first homicide of the year.

Homicide detectives say 22-year-old Brandon Phillips was arrested on a first-degree manslaughter warrant.

The arrest was made when authorities were called to a Northwest Tulsa home on Friday to help a four-month-old in cardiac arrest.

Detectives received a tip that Phillips had returned to Tulsa and was staying at the home.  He was found hiding in a closet.

Phillips is accused of shooting and killing 38-year-old Michael Hooks on New Year's Day.
