Man arrested for kidnapping, public intox in Skiatook attempted abduction

SKIATOOK, Okla. - A 56-year-old man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to kidnap a girl in Skiatook.
Skiatook police say Rick Blackwell attempted to abduct an 11-year-old girl Saturday while she was riding her bike.
Officers say the victim gave a description of the suspect that matched a man that was arrested for public intoxication later that day.
Police say the victim also identified Blackwell in a line-up.
Blackwell was arrested for public intoxication and kidnapping on Sunday. He is being held at the Tulsa County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
