Items lost at the Tulsa State Fair are waiting to be claimed.
Sheriff's deputies say lost items include purses, car keys, cell phones, cameras, and even wallets with cash in them.
They say they are enjoying the good deeds of those turning in the lost items and encourage folks to come pick them up. However, they require you know a lot about the lost item and you'll have to show some I.D.
"We are not going to return property to somebody just because it has some general description. It is going to have to be pretty specific," said Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Shannon Clark.
If you've lost something at the fair, you can stop by the Sheriff's Command Post on the east end of the fair, or the Expo Square Security office at the west end of the fair.
You can call the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office fair lost and found at 728-3232 or the Expo Square Security lost and found at 728-3111 X2142.
