TULSA - Local Green Country celebrities helped raise several thousand dollars last week to fight hunger.
More than $2,000 was raised during Restaurant Week's first Celebrity Waiter Night Tuesday Sept. 13.
Celebrity waiters and waitresses served dinner at participating restaurants.
2NEWS Anchor Justin Wilfon waited tables at Full Moon Cafe, donating his tips to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma's Food for Kids program.
Ten percent of the proceeds from Restaurant Week benefit the Food for Kids program, which gives kids a backpack full of food each week.
