Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa Zoo staff members are gearing up for one last Big Chill weekend at the Tulsa Zoo. The water slides will be put away for the summer.
Staff member Angela Evans says the water play area was brought back for a second year by popular demand. For only $5 dollars a day kids can cool off on bouncers and slip and slides.
Zoo staff open the doors early to allow families to enjoy a stroll at the zoo and avoid the heat. Labor Day Monday is the last day to enjoy the early bird hours of 7 a.m. and the Big Chill.
