TULSA - A 150-year-old violin is back with its owner after a thief grabbed it Thursday at a music store.
Police were called to Saied Music Company near 71st and Mingo around 6 p.m.
The victim said a white male stole his personal $10,000 Klauz violin as well as a Clark White Tin Key Penny Whistle from the store.
Police say the victim gave a good suspect description, and when an officer was called to Mattress King a short time later in reference to a stolen iPhone the suspect descriptions matched.
While officers were canvassing the area they witnessed a man matching the description and took him into custody.
Police say all the stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the owners.
William Joseph Kent, 21, was arrested for grand and petit larceny. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on $3,500 bond.
