Oklahoma's own Kings of Leon and the Flaming Lips are being joined by Jackson Browne, Built to Spill and other special guests to perform at the relief concert at Oklahoma City's Chesapeake Energy Arena.
"We couldn't be more proud to lend a hand to our home state," said Jared Followill, of Kings of Leon. "We were all devastated by what happened there ... We have family and friends that were affected by the tornadoes. This is the least we could do."

"Rock for Oklahoma" is aimed at helping affected Oklahomans with long-term needs. All of the proceeds from the concert will be dispersed to central Oklahoma community organizations and charities.
"Shakespeare said, 'It is not enough to help the needy up, but to support them after,' and in our small way we are trying to not just be here at the moment of immediate need, but to stay and help with the rebuilding," said Wayne Coyne, of the Flaming Lips. "After all, this is our home and they are us and we are them."
Tickets are $35 and $50 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or (800) 745-3000.
