JAY, Okla. - Highway patrol officials say a 19-year-old Jenks man was killed in a motorcycle wreck near Jay late Friday night.
Troopers say Victor Allyn Sharp was driving on a county road in Delaware County when his motorcycle passed another vehicle , failed to make a turn, ran off the road and struck a fence pole. He was thrown for 18 feet after the impact.
Sharp was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers say Sharp was driving too fast to make the curve.
