JENKS, Okla. - An honor procession is scheduled to take place Sunday evening through the city of Jenks to honor Jenks police Officer Juan Legaretta who died Wednesday, Jenks police said.

The route will lead through downtown Jenks on Main Street starting around 5:30 p.m.

Legaretta was participating in pre-employment testing for a position at the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Tuesday when he starting feeling ill, OBN spokesperson Mark Woodward said.

Legarreta was an Army veteran who served in the Iraq War before joining the Jenks Police Department.

It is not known what caused his death.
