A homeless Tulsa man is in jail Wednesday after accusations of rape and assault.
Jeffery Tallon, 25, was taken into Tulsa police custody around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon and faces charges of first-degree rape and aggravated assault and battery.
A witness to the crime named Tallon as the offender. Tallon's victim suffered "multiple facial and head injuries" and was bleeding excessively, according to a booking report.
Tallon was found with a bloody shirt and was arrested and booked into a Tulsa County Jail.
He is being held on $52,000 bond and is scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday.
