TULSA - Santa has arrived in Tulsa and is making appearances around town to have his photo taken with children and pets.
Philbrook: 2727 South Rockford Road, near Peoria in Tulsa
Santa Claus will be sitting by the beautiful Philbrook fireplace Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Photos are $10 for the first pose or $20 for a group (3 pictures). Digital photos will be delivered electronically within 48 hours unless otherwise requested.
Oklahoma Aquarium: 300 Aquarium Drive, Jenks
Watch Scuba Santa dive in among the fish in the 65,000 gallon saltwater tank. Bring your camera because Scuba Santa will be waiting for your children to pose in front of the tank for very unique photos. He will be swimming Dec. 8, 9,15, 16, 20 and 23 at 3:30 p.m.
Woodland Hills: 71st and Memorial in Tulsa.
Santa will be surrounded by a beautiful scene in Dillard's Court Lower Level. Photo packages are $19.99 to $24.99. Santa's schedule is Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with breaks for Santa at 1 and 5. Santa will also be available for pet photos on Dec. 9 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Utica Square: At 21st and Utica in Tulsa
Children can have a personal visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus inside the Utica Square cottage without being nervous with other children around. Each child will receive a free, fresh-baked cookie from Mrs. Claus. A photo with Santa is $8.00. Bring your own camera to take extra photos for the same cost. Click here for a map to locate the house. Santa's home is now open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Promenade Mall: At 41st and Yale in Tulsa
Santa and his friends are located in the Center Court, Lower Level by JC Penney. Santa's hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m. with breaks at 1 and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. They offer several different packages ranging in price from $19.99 to $39.99. Pet photos with Santa Bring your pet on leashes or in carriers Tuesday, Dec. 4 and 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. to have photos taken with Santa.
Sensitive Santa at Promenade mall is a special time to visit Santa reserved just for children with Autism. The mall will make its Santa area “sensory friendly,” with lower lighting and quieter surroundings. They offer a free 4x6 photo with Santa plus the ability to buy packages. During the event, Promenade Mall has festive giveaways and The Autism Center will be providing arts and crafts for the children as well. Dec. 2 from 8 to 11 a.m. – come early to get in line.
Bass Pro Shop: 101 Bass Pro Drive in Broken Arrow
Children can get a free 4x6, studio-quality photo with Santa from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, Saturdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout December. Christmas Eve hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Photo and gift packages are also available. Be sure to grab a Bass Pass to set an appointment with Santa if the line is too long.
Castle at Muskogee: 3400 West Fern Mountain Road in Muskogee.
Children can talk with Father Christmas inside the Castle at no cost and 4x6 photos can be purchased for $9. Click here for a calendar with dates showing when Father Christmas will be at the castle.
Greenwood Cultural Center: 322 North Greenwood, Tulsa
All children are invited to sit on Santa's lap and get their photos taken with Santa for free. Entertainment will be provided and a free book will also be given to each child. Santa will be visiting Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Dog Dish: 6502 East 51st Street, Tulsa-based
The Dog Dish is hosting a dog party Dec. 2 and 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with free Santa photos as the main event. The photos will be made available online so owners can print or e-mail at their convenience.
Petsmart: The Santa Claws Photo Event is Dec. 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost is $9.95 and $5 from every purchase will be donated to the local animal welfare organization participating that day.
