There's nothing better before a big game than a tailgate party.
The Tulsa Food Guy Tyson Caldwell shares his grilling tips so you can make those tailgate parties safe and easy.
Our resident grilling expert has a few simple steps you might overlook.
-- Have a fire extinguisher nearby.
-- Know what's happening with the weather, it can get windy here in the Sooner state - keep your tent secure if you're using one.
-- Have gloves, a lighter and plenty of bungee cords on hand as well.
As for the food?
-- Have snacks available. Kids tend to get impatient waiting for the "real" food to cook.
-- Use charcoal instead of propane if possible.
