Green Country schools place in national band championships

The Pride of Broken Arrow is the new national champion.

They took the top spot beating out 92 bands from around the country in the Bands of America Grand National Championships Saturday in Indianapolis.

Union High School placed sixth overall and Owasso High School placed seventh overall.

Friends and fans will greet the Pride when they arrive back in Broken Arrow around 7 p.m.
