GLENPOOL, Okla. - The first day of a Glenpool man's murder trial has been postponed until Tuesday morning.

David Bridgeman, charged with child abuse murder and child neglect, is accused of throwing his 21-month-old niece across the room after trying to potty train her. 

The toddler, Adriana Hernandez, died from her injuries.

Bridgeman's fiancee, Paula Najar, is charged with child neglect.

Najar entered a guilty plea April 12, waving her jury trial.

Najar's sentencing is set for June 11.
