GLENPOOL, Okla. - A Glenpool man who was found guilty of his niece's murder was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Thursday.
David Bridgeman, who entered a not guilty plea in May, was convicted of child abuse murder and child neglect April 20.
Police found 21-month-old Adriana Hernandez dead in a Glenpool home last May.
Bridgeman and fiancee Paula Najar told officers they were trying to potty train the toddler when Bridgeman lost his temper and threw the toddler across the room, later dying from her injuries.
Najar entered a guilty child neglect plea April 12, waving her jury trial.
Najar's sentencing is set for June 11.
