Get rid of old prescriptions at Saturday's drug take-back day

TULSA - Have any unused or expired prescriptions sitting around?  Get rid of them Saturday during Tulsa's drug take-back day.

The Tulsa Drug Enforcement Administration and its partners are collecting potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs to prevent pill abuse and theft.

During the last event in April, Americans turned in more than 550,000 pounds of prescription drugs nationwide.

Drop off your old prescriptions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the following locations:

  • Save-A-Lot at Pine and Lewis
  • Reasor's at 71st and Sheridan
  • Reasor's at 41st and Garnett

Dropoff is free and anonymous.
